NEUSPEED Short Shift Kit The Neuspeed short shift kit consists of a new steel shifter assembly that easily installs on to transmission's selector shaft. The Neuspeed short shift kit reduces the throw length between gears by approximately 40%. A calibrated counterweight is welded to the end of the Neuspeed bracket to retain a solid feel from gear to gear. Notes: Fits: Audi TT(8N) FWD 2000-01 and VW Beettle, Golf IV, Jetta IV 2000-01 with 5-Speed manual transmission. To confirm correct part, the stock shifter cable is connected to the selector lever on the transmission to a ball-shaped mounting stud.
